[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 경상북도는 17일 여성가족플라자 대강당에서 아동학대 예방의 날(11.19)을 맞아 아동에 대한 존중의식을 높이고 아동학대의 예방 및 방지에 대한 범도민적 관심을 제고하기 위해 ‘아동학대 제로, 안전한 경북’을 주제로 『2022년 아동학대 예방의 날 기념식』을 개최했다.
기념식에는 시군 아동학대전담공무원, 학대예방경찰관(APO) 경북권역 아동보호전문기관 및 관계기관 종사자 등 300여명이 참석했다.
이날 행사는 유공자 표창, 아동학대 예방 퍼포먼스, 정책 세미나 등으로 진행했다.
특히, 정책 세미나에서는 정동민 보건복지부 사무관을 초빙해‘아동학대 대응체계 정책 방향’이라는 주제로 세미나를 열어 아동학대에 대한 정부정책 방향에 대해 좀 더 자세히 알 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간을가졌다.
김학홍 경북도 행정부지사는 “평소 피해아동 보호와 학대 조사업무에 애쓰는 공무원 및 관계기관 종사자들의 노고에 깊은 위로와 감사의 말씀을 드린다”며, “도에서도 미래의 주인공인 아동들이 학대받지 않고 안전하고 건강하게 자랄 수 있도록 조금의 소홀함이 없도록 아동학대 예방 정책을 적극 추진해 나가겠다”고 약속했다.
한편, 경북도는 아동학대 대응체계 강화를 위해 아동학대 전담인력을 확대하여 도내(시군포함) 아동학대전담공무원 55명, 아동보호전담요원 46명을 배치했으며, 지난해 7월에는 도 아동보호전담팀을 신설해 운영 중에 있다.
또 올해부터 추진하는『방문형 가정회복 프로그램』시범사업을 통해, 위기가정에 직접 방문하여 심층 상담, 가족기능 회복 및 가정생활 지원서비스 등 맞춤형 프로그램을 지원하고 보다 적극적인 개입으로 아동학대 예방사업을 추진하고 있다.
아울러, 『거점 심리치료센터』를 운영해 학대 받은 아동들에게 질 높은 심리치료 서비스도 제공하고 있다.
이외에도 학대 피해아동 쉼터, 일시보호시설 등 보호 인프라의 적극적인 확충과 기존 시설의 정비, 아동학대 조기발견을 위한 위기아동을 발굴하고 현장조사 시스템을 지속해서 개선해 나갈 방침이다.

We will actively promote child abuse prevention policies so that future main characters can grow up safely and healthy."
Meanwhile, Gyeongsangbuk-do expanded its child abuse response system to deploy 55 child abuse officials and 46 child protection personnel in the province (including cities and counties), and in July last year, a child protection team was established and operated.
In addition, through the "Visit Home Recovery Program" pilot project from this year, it is directly visiting crisis families to support customized programs such as in-depth counseling, family function recovery, and family life support services, and promoting child abuse prevention projects through more active intervention.
