[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 경상북도 경산시(시장 조현일)가 지역 내 6개 대학교와 함께 '벤처창업 활성화 역량 공유를 위한 대학 상호협력 업무협약(MOU')을 체결했다고 29일 밝혔다.
이날 협약식은 윤두현 국회의원(국민의힘)이 함께 했으며, ▲경일대 ▲대경대 ▲대구가톨릭대 ▲대구대 ▲대구한의대 ▲영남대 등이 참가 당일 시청 대회의실에서 열렸다.
조현일 경산시장은 “윤두현 의원의 적극적인 지원으로 관내 6개 대학교가 손을 잡았다"며 "대학이 가진 우수한 인력에 시의 창업인프라가 결합한다면 긍정적인 시너지를 낼 것"이라 기대감을 밝혔다.
주요협약 내용은 ▲지역의 창업촉진 및 활성화를 위한 지원 확대 ▲창업 활성화를 위한 공동사업 발굴 및 추진 ▲창업기업, 기관별 지원사업, 행사, 창업지원 인프라 등의 창업정보 공유 ▲지자체, 대학, 혁신기관 연계 ICT 벤처창업 허브 플랫폼 구축 ▲기타 지역 창업인재 양성 및 창업 활성화를 위한 상호협력 등이다.
이날 협약식에는 윤두현 국회의원, 정현태 경일대학교 총장, 이채영 대경대학교 총장, 성한기 대구가톨릭대학교 총장직무대행, 박순진 대구대학교 총장, 변창훈 대구한의대학교 총장, 최외출 영남대학교 총장이 참석했다.
Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do (mayor Cho Hyun-il), announced on the 29th that it has signed a University Mutual Cooperation Business Agreement (MOU) with six universities in the region to share capacity to revitalize venture startups.
The signing ceremony was joined by National Assemblyman Yoon Doo-hyun (Power of the People), and ▲ Kyungil University ▲ Daegyeong University ▲ Daegu Catholic University ▲ Daegu University ▲ Daegu Korean Medical University ▲ Yeongnam University and others were held at the conference room of the city hall on the day.
Gyeongsan Mayor Cho Hyun-il said, "With the active support of Rep. Yoon Doo-hyun, six universities in the jurisdiction have joined hands," adding, "If the city's startup infrastructure is combined with the excellent manpower of the university, it will create positive synergy."
The main contents of the agreement are ▲ Expansion of support to promote and revitalize start-ups in ▲ Discovery and promotion of joint projects to revitalize start-ups ▲ Sharing start-up information on start-up projects, events, and start-up support infrastructure ▲ Establishment of ICT venture hub platform linked to local governments, universities, and innovative institutions ▲ mutual cooperation.
Representative Yoon Doo-hyun, President Chung Hyun-tae of Kyungil University, President Lee Chae-young of Daekyung University, Acting President Sung Han-ki of Daegu Catholic University, Park Soon-jin, President Byun Chang-hoon of Daegu Korean Medical University, and Choi Oe-chul of Yeungnam University attended the signing ceremony.
