[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 대구시는 (사)대구·경북영양사회와 함께 우리 쌀 소비 촉진에 앞장서고자 12월 11일(일)까지 ‘누구나 쉽게 만들 수 있는 쌀(백미)을 활용한 레시피’라는 주제로 쌀을 재료로 활용한 요리법 영상 공모전을 개최한다.
서구화된 식생활 습관과 바쁜 일상으로 우리 쌀의 소비가 감소하는 가운데, 이번 공모전으로 우리 쌀을 이용해 손쉽게 실천할 수 있는 다양한 레시피를 발굴·보급해 가정에서 사랑받는 요리재료로 활용하게 함으로써 쌀 소비 촉진과 쌀 중심의 건강한 식생활 문화 확산에 기여하고자 한다.
공모전의 주제는 ‘누구나 쉽게 만들 수 있는 쌀(백미)을 활용한 레시피’로 우리 쌀을 재료로 한 어떠한 요리법도 가능하며, 남녀노소 구분 없이 쌀과 요리에 관심 있는 대한민국 국민 누구나 자유롭게 참여할 수 있다.
우리 쌀로 간편하게 실천할 수 있는 요리법과 시식 장면 등을 3분 이내의 영상으로 제작해 개인 SNS에 업로드 후 신청서와 함께 전자우편 제출로 참여 가능하며 공모내용 전문과 신청서 등 공모전과 관련한 자세한 내용은 대구시청 및 대구도시농업박람회 누리집에서 확인할 수 있다.
출품작에 대한 심사는 1차와 2차로 진행하며, 외부전문가 등 심사위원을 구성해 영상 및 서면 자료 평가로 4점을 우선 선정 후, 1차 선정자가 직접 참석해 현장에서 조리와 시식을 겸하는 평가로 최종 수상자를 선정하게 된다.
심사 결과에 따라 최우수상 1점, 우수상 1점, 장려상 2점을 시상하고 수상자에게는 대구광역시장상 및 소정의 상품(온누리상품권)을 지급할 예정이며, 수상작은 향후 쌀 소비 촉진 프로젝트 홍보 등에 적극 활용할 예정이다.
한편, 대구시는 (사)대구·경북영양사회, (사)한국부인회대구시지회, (사)한국생활개선대구시연합회와 함께 쌀 소비 촉진을 위해 다양한 박람회 등에서 쌀 가공품 전시·체험 행사를 개최하고, 쌀 요리 체험수업인 ‘달구벌미(米)소 영양교실’, 11월 11일 농업인의 날을 기념한 가래떡데이 나눔 행사를 개최한 바 있다.
이동건 대구시 농산유통과장은 “쌀은 성인병 등 많은 질병을 예방하는 데 큰 도움을 주는 웰빙식품으로 건강한 식생활에 도움을 주는 우리민족의 주식이다”며, “이번 공모전을 통해 나만 알고 있던 다양한 쌀 요리법을 전 국민과 함께 공유해 가정에서 손쉽게 쌀요리를 실천할 수 있도록 많은 분들의 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
Daegu City will hold a recipe video contest using rice as an ingredient under the theme of Recipe Using Rice (White Rice) that can be easily made by anyone until December 11 (Sun) to take the lead in promoting our rice consumption with Daegu and Gyeongbuk Nutrition Society.
While the consumption of Korean rice is decreasing due to westernized eating habits and busy daily lives, the contest aims to promote rice consumption and spread healthy eating culture centered on rice by discovering and distributing various recipes that can be easily practiced using Korean rice.
The theme of the contest is "Recipe using rice (white rice) that can be easily made by anyone," and any recipe using Korean rice is available, regardless of gender or age, and anyone interested in rice and cooking can freely participate.
You can produce recipes and tasting scenes that can be easily practiced with Korean rice in less than three minutes, upload them to your personal SNS, submit them by e-mail, and check out the full contents of the contest and details of the contest, such as application, on the Daegu City Hall and Daegu Urban Agricultural Fair website.
The first and second rounds of screening will be conducted, with judges such as external experts to select four points first through video and written data evaluation, and the first round of selection will attend to select the final winner by both cooking and tasting on-site.
According to the results of the screening, one grand prize, one excellence prize, and two encouragement prizes will be awarded to the winners of Daegu Metropolitan City Mayor's Award and certain products (Onnuri Gift Certificates), and the winners will be actively used to promote rice consumption projects in the future.
Meanwhile, Daegu City held exhibitions and experience events for rice processed products at various fairs to promote rice consumption with the Daegu and Gyeongbuk Nutrition Society, the Korean Women's Association, and the Daegu Federation for Life Improvement.
"Rice is a well-being food that greatly helps prevent many diseases such as adult diseases and is a staple of our people who help a healthy diet," said Lee Dong-gun, head of the agricultural distribution division in Daegu. "I hope many people will pay attention and participate in this contest to share various rice recipes that only I knew with the whole nation."
