[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자] 한국승강기안전공단(이하 공단)이 모두의 경제 사회적 협동조합(이하 협동조합), 사회적 기업 성장지원센터 경남(이하 센터), ㈜굿사이클 등 3개 기관과 ‘ESG경영 실천을 위한 업무협약’을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 공단 승강기 검사원들의 근무복을 재활용하여 태블릿PC 파우치 등 3가지 제품으로 업사이클하여 자원을 재순환하고 지역사회 일자리 창출과 사회적 기업 지원 등 ESG경영 실천을 위해 마련됐다.
주요 업무협약 내용은 공단은 재생 가능한 근무복을 사회적 기업에게 기부하고, 업사이클된 제품을 우선 구매하여 사회적경제기업의 원활한 사업추진을 위해 협력하기로 했다.
또 사회적 기업인 굿사이클은 공단이 기부한 근무복을 활용하여 ESG 관련 제품을 기획 생산하며, 협동조합과 센터는 사회적경제기업 활성화 및 일자리 창출 계획을 수립하고 운영해 나가기로 했다.
공단 양의모 경영기획이사는 “공단은 ESG경영 실천 및 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 사회적기업과 유기적인 협력체계를 구축하여 지역사회를 위한 다양한 사업을 전개해 나갈 계획이다”고 말했다.

The agreement was designed to recycle the work clothes of elevator inspectors at the industrial complex and upcycle them into three products, including tablet PC pouches, recycle resources, create jobs in the community, and support social enterprises.
The main business agreement is that the corporation will donate renewable working clothes to social enterprises, purchase upcycled products first, and cooperate for the smooth business promotion of social economy enterprises.
In addition, GoodCycle, a social enterprise, plans and produces ESG-related products using work clothes donated by the corporation, and cooperatives and centers will establish and operate plans to revitalize social economy companies and create jobs.
Yang Eui-mo, the management planning director of the corporation, said, "The corporation plans to develop various projects for the local community by establishing an organic cooperation system with social enterprises to practice ESG management and revitalize the local economy."
