[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자] 울산시 울주군이 위탁 운영 중인 울주군 가족센터(센터장 임대완)가 한국건강가정진흥원이 인증하는 ‘2022년 가족상담 우수기관’에 선정됐다고 16일 밝혔다.
한국건강가정진흥원은 올해 전국 가족센터 244개소 중 울주군을 비롯한 30개소를 가족상담 우수기관으로 선정했다.
이번 우수기관 선정은 가족센터의 상담서비스 질적 향상과 전문성 강화, 가족상담 전문기관으로서 인지도 제고와 가족상담 확대 기반 마련을 위해 추진됐다.
앞서 한국건강가정진흥원은 시·도 및 시·군·구 인구별 가족상담 이용자 수 비율을 토대로 가족상담 우수기관 후보군을 선별했다. 이어 ▲상담사업 운영환경 ▲가족상담 전문인력 자격 충족 여부 ▲상담 대기자 관리 ▲사업성과 등에 대한 전문가 심사과정을 거쳐 최종 우수기관을 뽑았다.
올해 신규 선정된 가족상담 우수기관은 가족 내 다양한 갈등과 문제 상황 등 지역 내 거주인구에 대한 분석과 의견수렴 등을 통해 지역사회에 맞는 상담을 지원하는 전문기관으로 좋은 평가를 받았다.
최종 선정된 우수기관에는 ‘가족상담 우수기관’ 현판과 인증서를 지급하며, 가족상담 전문교육과 사후컨설팅 지원, 가족상담 우수기관 워크숍 개최 등 혜택이 주어진다.
임대완 센터장은 “앞으로도 생애주기에 따라 발생하는 가족 내 다양한 갈등과 문제를 예방하고 해결하기 위해 전문적인 심리상담을 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 울주군 가족센터는 부부 상담, 부모와 자녀 상담 등 가족상담뿐만 아니라 개인상담과 임상심리검사를 포함한 다양한 심리검사를 지원하고 있다.

The selection of excellent institutions was carried out to improve the quality and expertise of counseling services at family centers, raise awareness as a specialized family counseling institution, and lay the foundation for expanding family counseling.
Earlier, the Korea Health and Family Promotion Agency selected candidates for excellent family counseling institutions based on the ratio of the number of family counseling users by population of cities, provinces, cities, counties, and districts. Then, the ▲ consultation business operating environment ▲ family counseling professionals qualification ▲ waiting for counseling management ▲ business performance, etc., and the final excellent institution was selected.
The newly selected excellent family counseling institution this year was well-received as a specialized institution that supports counseling tailored to the local community through analysis and opinion gathering on the local population, including various conflicts and problems in the family.
The finally selected excellent institutions will be given a signboard and certificate of "excellent family counseling institution," and benefits such as specialized family counseling education, post-consulting support, and holding workshops for excellent family counseling institutions.
We will continue to support professional psychological counseling to prevent and solve various conflicts and problems in the family that occur according to the life cycle, said Seo Yong-wan, head of the center.
Meanwhile, the Ulju-gun Family Center supports various psychological tests, including personal counseling and clinical psychological tests, as well as family counseling such as couple counseling and parent and child counseling.
