[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자] 울산시교육청(교육감 노옥희)이 EBS와 공동 주관으로 ‘예비 고3과 고1 EBS 대입 설명회’를 오는 5일 오전 10시와 오후 3시 30분에 시교육청 대강당에서 두 차례에 걸쳐 개최한다.
설명회에서는 고1·2 학생과 학부모를 대상으로 오전 10시부터 2시간에 걸쳐 2024~2025 대입을 중심으로 과목별 학습법과 학생부교과전형, 학생부종합전형, 수능 위주 전형 등 전형별 준비 방법에 대해 안내한다.
또한 EBS 대표 강사들이 울산 학생들의 관심이 높은 서울과 영남 지역 대학의 전형 특징을 분석하여 제공함으로써 울산 학생 맞춤형 대입 설명회가 될 것으로 기대된다.
‘예비 고1 EBS 대입 설명회’는 대학 입시를 잘 모르는 중학생과 학부모를 대상으로 오후 3시 30분부터 2시간에 걸쳐 1부와 2부로 나눠 진행된다.
1부에서는 내신과 수능 과목별 학습법, EBSi 프로그램 활용법을 안내하여 자기 주도 학습 능력을 키우고 고교 내신성적과 수능 성적을 올릴 수 있는 학습법을 안내한다.
2부에서는 2026학년도 대입 전형의 이해와 전형별 준비 방법 등을 안내하여 학생과 학부모가 맞춤형 대학 입시를 준비하기 위한 전략을 세우는 데 도움을 줄 것이다. 특히, 학생부종합전형의 특징과 대비 방안을 안내하여 학생 맞춤형 진로 탐색과 바람직한 고교생활을 설계할 기회도 제공한다.
이번 설명회에는 사전 신청한 학생과 학부모만 참가할 수 있으며, 당일 참가자 전원에게 EBS 입시설명회 자료를 배부한다. 또한 1~2주일 경과 후 EBS 누리집과 울산진로진학지원센터 누리집에서 편집된 녹화 영상으로 다시 볼 수 있다.
시교육청 중등교육과 박현미 과장은 “이번 EBS 대입 설명회를 통해 중·고등학교 학생과 학부모는 대입에 대한 막연한 불안감을 해소하고 구체적인 준비 방법을 찾는 데 도움을 받을 것”이라며, “앞으로도 진로진학지원센터는 진로·진학 상담과 특강, 진로탐색 프로그램 등을 통해 학생 한 명 한 명이 적성과 흥미, 능력에 맞은 진로를 찾고 진학할 수 있도록 진로·진학 지원을 계속해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.
한편, 울산교육청은 청사 내 주차장 공사로 내부 주차가 어려우니, 대중교통을 적극적으로 이용할 것과 차량 운행 시 미리 안내한 울산초, 함월고 주차장이나 한국석유공사 맞은편 동원개발 공터 임시주차장을 이용할 것을 당부했다.

The "Preliminary High School First-year EBS College Entrance Briefing" will be divided into first and second parts for two hours from 3:30 p.m. for middle school students and parents who are not familiar with college entrance exams.
In the first part, we will guide you on how to improve your self-directed learning skills and improve your high school grades and CSAT scores by guiding you on how to learn by subject, and how to use EBSi programs.
The second part will guide students and parents on understanding the 2026 college entrance examination and how to prepare for each examination, helping them establish strategies to prepare for customized college entrance exams. In particular, it provides opportunities to explore career paths tailored to students and design desirable high school life by guiding the characteristics and preparation plans of the comprehensive student record screening.
Only students and parents who have applied in advance can participate in this briefing session, and data for the EBS entrance examination briefing will be distributed to all participants on the same day. In addition, after a week or two, you can watch it again as a recorded video edited on the EBS website and the Ulsan Career Advancement Support Center website.
"Through this EBS college entrance briefing session, middle and high school students and parents will be helped to resolve vague anxiety about college entrance and find specific preparations," said Park Hyun-mi, head of the secondary education department of the city's education office.
Meanwhile, the Ulsan Office of Education urged active use of public transportation and use Ulsan Elementary School, Hamwol High School parking lot, or a temporary parking lot of Dongwon Development Complex opposite the Korea National Oil Corporation.
