[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자] 울산시 울주군이 내년부터 2026년까지 2만4천명 일자리 창출과 고용률 65.5%를 목표로 지역 일자리 조성에 박차를 가한다.
울주군은 30일 군청 7층 이화홀에서 이순걸 울주군수 주재로 울주군 일자리위원회 위원들이 참석한 가운데 ‘울주군 일자리 창출 종합계획 수립 최종보고회’를 개최했다.
앞서 군은 일자리창출 사업과 중장기 전략 개발 등 일자리 창출대책 종합 구상을 위해 지난 8월부터 울산연구원 연구용역을 진행해 이번 계획을 수립했다.
계획 내용에 따르면 울주군은 ‘내 삶의 힘이 되는 일자리, 행복 울주’를 비전으로, 내년부터 2026년까지 4년간 총 2만4천명의 일자리 창출과 고용률 65.5%를 달성할 계획이다.
이를 위해 4대 추진전략과 10대 중점과제를 수립해 일자리 중심의 군정을 펼친다.
먼저 ‘혁신성장 기반 조성 및 기업 활력 제고’ 전략으로 민간기업 투자유치를 활성화하고, 중소기업 지원 및 전문인력을 양성한다. 미래 신산업 기반 조성으로 일자리 창출력을 높인다.
‘고용서비스 고도화 및 고용안정 강화’를 통해 일자리 지원 인프라를 확충하고, 고용안정 선제 대응을 강화한다.
‘사회적 배려와 함께하는 일자리 창출’로는 취업취약계층 일자리 창출 및 고용안정을 지원하며, 청년 취업경쟁력 제고에 힘쓴다. 또 사회적경제 활성화로 안정적 일자리를 창출한다.
‘창업 활성화를 통한 일자리 창출’을 추진해 청년 및 중장년 창업 활성화를 지원하고, 창업지원 인프라를 확충한다.
이순걸 울주군수는 “양질의 일자리 창출을 최우선하는 새정부의 국정기조에 맞춰 지역의 산업 및 고용구조, 역점산업 등 특수성을 고려한 울주군 맞춤형 일자리 창출 모델을 개발해 군민에게 힘이 되는 든든한 일자리를 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.

Ulju-gun held a final report on the establishment of a comprehensive plan for job creation in Ulju-gun on the 30th at Ewha Hall on the 7th floor of the county office, presided over by Lee Soon-gul, head of Ulju-gun County.
Earlier, the county established the plan by conducting research services at Ulsan Research Institute since August to comprehensively devise job creation measures such as job creation projects and mid- to long-term strategy development.
According to the plan, Ulju-gun plans to create a total of 24,000 jobs and achieve an employment rate of 65.5% over the four years from next year to 2026, with the vision of "jobs that help me in my life, happiness Ulju."
To this end, the government will establish four major promotion strategies and ten major tasks to conduct a job-oriented military government.
First, it will revitalize investment attraction of private companies with a strategy of "creating a foundation for innovative growth and enhancing corporate vitality," support small and medium-sized enterprises, and train professionals. It will increase job creation by creating a foundation for new industries in the future.
It will expand its job support infrastructure by "advancing employment services and strengthening employment stability" and strengthen preemptive responses to job security.
Job creation with social consideration" supports job creation and job stability for the vulnerable in employment, and strives to enhance youth job competitiveness." It also creates stable jobs by revitalizing the social economy.
It will promote "job creation through activation of start-ups" to support activation of young and middle-aged start-ups and expand infrastructure to support start-ups.
Ulju County Governor Lee Soon-gul said, "In line with the new government's national stance, we will develop a customized job creation model for Ulju County considering the specificities of local industries, employment structures, and focus industries."
