[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자] 해양수산부 국립수산과학원(원장 우동식, 이하 수과원)은 제11호 태풍 ‘힌남노(Hinnamnor)’가 이르면 오는 4일 제주도 남쪽부터 직접 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되어 양식시설과 양식생물이 피해를 입지 않도록 관리에 만전을 기해 줄 것을 당부했다.
태풍이 접근하면 강풍과 함께 높은 파도, 집중호우로 인해 영향권에 있는 육상수조 양식장과 해상가두리 양식장 등에 많은 피해가 우려되므로 적극적인 대비가 요구된다.
또한 태풍의 영향권에서 벗어난 뒤, 육상수조 양식장에서는 깨끗한 해수로 사육수를 공급하고 수조 내에 유입된 펄, 모래 등의 이물질을 신속히 제거하여 수질오염이나 2차 질병감염에 주의해야 한다.
국립수산과학원 우동식 원장은 “제11호 태풍 ‘힌남노’가 양식장이 많은 제주도와 남해안에 직접적인 영향을 줄 것으로 예상됨에 따라 양식장 시설물 및 사육생물을 사전에 점검하여 태풍으로 인한 재산 피해가 발생하지 않도록 대비하여 주시고, 무엇보다도 인명 피해가 발생하지 않도록 철저한 주의를 당부드린다”고 말했다.

When a typhoon approaches, high waves and torrential rains along with strong winds are feared to cause a lot of damage to land-based and offshore fish farms in the affected area, so active preparation is required.
In addition, after being out of the influence of the typhoon, land tank farms should supply breeding water with clean seawater and quickly remove foreign substances such as pearls and sand that entered the tank to be careful of water pollution or secondary disease infection.
"As the 11th typhoon 'Hinnamno' is expected to directly affect Jeju Island and the southern coast, we ask you to check the farm facilities and breeding life in advance to prevent property damage from the typhoon, and above all, we ask you to be careful not to cause any casualties."
