[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자] 울산시는 10일 오후 2시 울산정보산업진흥원 4층 대회의실에서 ‘스마트 해양모빌리티 전문인재 양성사업 2차 실무회의’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이날 회의는 지난 1월 26일 ‘울산태화호’에서 해양수산부·울산시 선상 실무 회의를 가진 이후 해양이동수단(모빌리티) 인력양성을 위한 공동훈련센터 구축 및 운영을 위한 두 번째 만남이다.
지난 1월 회의에서 해양수산부가 제기한 사항들에 대한 구체적 사업 계획과 추진방안 등을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
울산시, 해양수산부, 한국해양수산연수원, 한국해양수산개발원, 울산정보산업진흥원, 선박해양플랜트연구소, 한국조선해양기자재연구원, 케이에스에스(KSS)마린, 휴맥스모빌리티, 지오소프트, 울산대학교, 한국해양대학교, 목포해양대학교, 울산과학대학교 등 산․학․연 관계자 25여 명이 참석한다.
주요 논의 사항은 ▲지능형(스마트) 해양이동수단(모빌리티) 인재양성 계획(스마트선박/관제/방폭/자율운항) ▲혁신기관과 대학 교육 연계 방안 논의 등이다.
특히 울산시는 지역 혁신기관들의 기존 시설․장비(인프라)와 연계한 미래 해양이동수단(모빌리티) 인재 양성 방안을 설명하고, 해양수산부의 적극적인 지원을 요청한다.
울산시는 2차 실무회의 결과를 종합해 해양수산부, 기획재정부 등 중앙부처를 방문해 협의 진행하고 내년 신규 사업 추진을 위한 국비 확보에 나선다는 계획이다.
이날 회의 후에는 해양이동수단(모빌리티) 교육에 활용할 선박브릿지 모의실험 장치(시뮬레이터)*, 관제체계(시스템) 등 장비가 있는 울산정보산업진흥원을 견학한다.
해양수산부 관계자는 “이번 실무회의는 미래해양이동수단(모빌리티) 인재 양성에 대해 지역의 혁신기관과 해운선사, 전문기업, 대학이 공감대를 형성하는 자리이다”며 “울산시의 미래해양이동수단(모빌리티) 인재 양성 사업 계획을 참고해 구체적인 인력양성 방안에 대한 사업화를 추진해 나가겠다“라고 말했다.

The meeting was organized to discuss specific business plans and implementation measures in response to issues raised by the MOLIT at the January meeting.
More than 25 representatives from industry, academia, and research, including the city of Ulsan, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Korea Maritime and Fisheries Training Institute, Korea Maritime and Fisheries Development Institute, Ulsan Information Industry Promotion Agency, Shipbuilding and Marine Plant Research Institute, Korea Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment Research Institute, KSS Marine, Humax Mobility, Geosoft, Ulsan National University, Korea Maritime University, Mokpo Marine University, and Ulsan University of Science and Technology, will attend.
The main discussion points include ▲ intelligent (smart) marine transportation (mobility) human resource development plan (smart ship/control/explosion-proof/autonomous operation) ▲ discussion on how to link innovation organizations and university education.
In particular, Ulsan City explains how to foster future maritime mobility talent in connection with existing facilities and equipment (infrastructure) of local innovation organizations, and requests active support from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
The city of Ulsan plans to synthesize the results of the second working meeting and visit central ministries such as the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance to conduct consultations and secure government funding to promote new projects next year.
After the meeting, they will tour the Ulsan Information Industry Promotion Center, which has equipment such as a ship bridge simulation device (simulator)* and a control system (system) to be used for marine mobility education.
An official from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries said, "This working meeting is a place for local innovation institutions, shipping companies, specialized companies, and universities to form a consensus on fostering future maritime mobility talent." "We will promote the commercialization of specific manpower training measures by referring to Ulsan's future maritime mobility talent training business plan."
