[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 대구시 장애공감 서포터즈가 11월 26일(토) 오후 1시부터 동성로 구.대구백화점 중앙무대 앞에서 시민들과 함께하는 장애인식 개선 캠페인을 펼친다.
‘비켜가면 벽이 되고 다가가면 하나 되는 사회’라는 슬로건 아래 진행되는 이번 캠페인은 제4기 대구시 장애공감 서포터즈의 도움으로 시민의 주체적인 참여를 끌어내 ‘장애로 인한 차이와 다양성이 활력이 되는 도시 대구’의 메시지를 전달하기 위해 개최된다.
이날 참여하는 시민들은 점자블록·안내판, 경사로, 휠체어 리프트 등 장애인 편의시설을 찾아 촬영하고 장애인과 비장애인이 어울려 살아가야 하는 사회임을 깨닫는 기회를 가지며 이를 사회관계망(SNS)에 공유하면 소정의 기념품도 받을 수 있다.
또 장애공감 부스에서는 점자촉각 엽서 읽기, 수어 도장 찍기 등을 체험할 수 있고, 장애공감 퍼포먼스를 젊은층에게 인기 있는 인생네컷으로 촬영해 행사명 등을 함께 인화한 사진을 소장할 수 있다.
장애에 대한 인식 개선을 위한 장애공감 퀴즈 맞히기와 장애공감 서포터즈 공식 사회관계망(SNS)을 팔로우하고 설문조사 참여 및 서포터즈 홍보를 하면 그립톡, 커피쿠폰 등 상품도 받을 수 있다.
대구시는 2019년부터 지자체 단위에서는 유일하게 장애인식 개선을 위한 서포터즈 운영을 시작해 매년 일반시민의 신청을 받아 서포터즈로 위촉·운영해 왔으며, 올해도 31명의 대학생과 시민들이 온라인과 오프라인을 통해 창의적인 장애공감 콘텐츠를 기획해 제작, 확산하고 있다.
김동우 대구시 복지국장은 “지난 9월부터 활동해 온 제4기 대구시 장애공감 서포터즈가 온라인을 넘어 보다 많은 시민의 참여를 이끌어 남녀노소 누구나 즐기면서 장애에 대한 이해와 공감의 폭을 넓힐 수 있는 기회가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Citizens who participate on this day have the opportunity to find and film convenience facilities for the disabled such as braille blocks, information boards, ramps, and wheelchair lifts, and to realize that it is a society where disabled and non-disabled people should live together, and they can receive a small souvenir on social networking sites.
In addition, you can experience reading Braille tactile postcards and stamping sign language at the Disability Empathy booth, and you can take pictures of the disability empathy performance in four cuts of life popular among young people and print the event name together.
You can also receive products such as grip talk and coffee coupons by guessing disability empathy quizzes to improve awareness of disability, following disability empathy supporters' official social networking sites, participating in surveys, and promoting supporters.
Since 2019, Daegu City has been the only local government to operate supporters to improve disability awareness and has been commissioned and operated as supporters every year at the request of ordinary citizens. This year, 31 college students and citizens plan and produce and spread creative disability empathy content online and offline.
Kim Dong-woo, director of the Daegu City Welfare Bureau, said, "We hope that the 4th Daegu City Disability Empathy Supporters, which have been active since September, will lead more citizens to participate beyond online and expand their understanding and empathy."
