[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 경상북도는 23일 오후 안동 길안천지생태공원 일원에서 대형 산불 발생을 가상한「산불진화 합동 시범훈련」을 안전한국시범훈련과 병행하여 실시했다.
이번 훈련은 대형 산불의 위험성을 알리면서 신속한 진화를 위해 인근 시군과 산불관련 유관기관 간 유기적인 협력 체계를 견고하게 다지기 위해 마련했다.
대형 산불 발생 상황을 가정하고 실시한 이 훈련은 안동시를 비롯한 5개 시군과 남부지방산림청, 소방 및 경찰관서, 육군 제3260부대 등 산불관련 유관기관 200여명의 진화인력 참여와 산불진화헬기 6대(산림청 1, 임차헬기 5), 산불진화차 등 차량 14대가 동원됐다.
산불발생 및 신고단계에서부터 초기대응, 중‧소형 산불 및 대형 산불로의 확산에 따른 초동진화와 유관기관이 역할 분담 및 진화 지원, 현장통합지휘본부 운영, 진화지휘권 인수‧인계, 산불진화헬기 동원과 투입, 부상자 구조‧구급, 가해자 검거, 잔불정리에 이르기까지 단계별 조치와 대응체계를 실전과 동일하게 훈련을 진행했다.
특히, 이번 훈련에서는 지난 봄철 발생한 6건의 대형 산불 등 그간 진화과정에서 나타난 문제점을 개선하고, 산불현장 통합지휘본부와 실시간 변화하는 산불상황에 대응하는 상황판단과 현장지휘 훈련을 통한 진화 지휘체계 숙달에 중점을 뒀다.
최영숙 경북도 환경산림자원국장은“이번 합동 시범훈련을 통해 대응태세를 점검하고, 개선방안을 마련과 유관기관 간의 유기적인 대응체계를 구축할 수 있었다”며, “산불에 대응해 피해를 최소화하는 진화훈련도 중요하지만, 무엇보다 예방이 최선이다”라고 당부했다.

This training was designed to strengthen the organic cooperation system between nearby cities and counties and forest fire-related organizations for rapid evolution while announcing the danger of large forest fires.
The drill, which was conducted under the assumption of a large forest fire, involved more than 200 firefighters from five cities and counties, including Andong City, the Southern Forest Service, the Fire and Police Department, and the Army's 3260th unit, and 14 vehicles including six forest fire helicopters (National Forest Service 1, 5).
From forest fire occurrence and reporting stage to initial response, early evolution and support for small and medium-sized forest fires and large-scale forest fires, operation of on-site integrated command headquarters, acquisition and handover, mobilization and input of forest fire helicopters, rescue and rescue of injured people, arrest of perpetrators, and clean-up.
In particular, the training focused on improving the problems that have appeared in the evolution process, including six large forest fires that occurred last spring, and mastering the evolutionary command system through real-time forest fire command training and integrated command headquarters.
