[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 지난 15일(화)부터 4일간 개최된 ‘2022 대구국제기계산업대전이’ 18일(금)까지 13개국 330개 사가 참여한 가운데 3만여 명이 참관해 성황리에 폐막했다.
이번 대구국제기계산업대전은 2019년 이후 3년 만에 대면으로 수출상담회가 진행됐으며 전시회 참가업체 수가 전년 275개 사에서 올해 330개 사로 20% 증가했고, 해외 참가기업도 2배로 증가(’21년 6개국 21개 사→’22년 12개국 38개 사)해 참가업체 및 참관객에게 호평을 받았다.
대구국제자동화기기전에 부스를 마련한 대성하이텍은 “전년도와 비교해 부스 방문객이 눈에 띄게 늘었으며, 장비 구매 및 수주 문의도 많았다”며, “무엇보다도 우주·항공에서부터 IT, 의료, 자동차 등 다양한 산업분야 관계자들을 잠재고객으로 확보할 수 있었다는 점이 이번 전시회 참가의 가장 큰 성과”라고 덧붙였다.
또한, 스카라로봇, 6축로봇 등 산업용로봇을 선보인 한국엡손은 “2020년부터 매년 참가하고 있으며, 특히 올해 관심 고잭의 부스 방문 증가뿐만 아니라 구매상담 성과가 가장 좋았다”고 평가했다. 이밖에도 현대로보틱스, 한국야스카와전기, 한국OSG, 삼익THK, 동성디에스엠, 신성종합물산, 에스피지 등이 유의미한 참가 성과를 기록한 것으로 확인되었다.
특히, 올해는 해외바이어 초청 수출상담회 및 국내 대·중견기업 간 구매상담회가 대면으로 진행돼 수출상담액은 작년 8,231만 달러에서 올해 9,980만 달러로 21% 증가했고, 대·중견기업 구매상담액도 작년 200억원에서 967억원으로 4.8배 증가한 실적을 기록했다.
주요 실적으로는 비접촉 출입통제시스템 기업인 뉴론웍스가 우즈베키스탄의 Ziyo Forum사와 80만달러 규모의 MOU를 체결했으며 말레이시아, 러시아와 88만불의 투자유치 상담을 진행해 해외 시장 진출의 교두보를 마련했고, 제이슨랩, 현대로보틱스 등도 해외 기업들과의 투자 성과를 거두었다.
동시개최행사로 진행된 2022 대구 글로벌 로봇 비즈니스 포럼은 온·오프라인 하이브리드 방식으로 23개국 28개 클러스터가 참여하고, 현장 참가 463명과 온라인 참가 912명 총 1,375명이 참석해 역대 최대규모의 성황을 이루었다.
홍준표 대구시장은 “이번 전시회는 기계·부품소재·로봇 산업의 중요성과 미래가치를 확인할 수 있는 소중한 자리였다”며, “앞으로도 대구국제기계산업대전이 관련 산업과 기업의 비즈니스 교류 확대에 기여할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

"The number of visitors to the booth has increased significantly compared to the previous year, and there have been many inquiries about equipment purchases and orders," Daesung Hi-Tech, which set up a booth at the Daegu International Automation Exhibition, said. "The biggest achievement of the exhibition is that we were able to secure officials from various industries from space and aviation to IT, medical and automobiles as potential customers."
In addition, Epson Korea, which introduced industrial robots such as Scarabot and 6-axis robots, said, "We have participated every year since 2020, and especially this year, the purchase consultation results were the best as well as the increase in interested GoJack's visits to booths." In addition, Hyundai Robotics, Korea Yasukawa Electric, Korea OSG, Samik THK, Dongsung DSM, Shinseong General C&T, and SPG were confirmed to have recorded significant participation results.
In particular, export consultations and purchase consultations between large and medium-sized companies in Korea were held face-to-face this year, increasing 21% from $82.31 million last year to $99.8 million this year, and purchase consultations for large and medium-sized companies also increased 4.8 times from 20 billion won last year to 96.7 billion won.
Neuronworks, a non-contact access control system company, signed an MOU with Uzbekistan's Ziyo Forum worth $800,000, held $880,000 investment consultations with Malaysia and Russia to pave the way for entry into overseas markets, and Jason Lab and Hyundai Robotics also made investments with overseas companies.
The 2022 Daegu Global Robot Business Forum, which was held simultaneously, was the largest ever, with 28 clusters from 23 countries participating in an online and offline hybrid method, with a total of 1,375 people attending, 463 on-site and 912 online participants.
Hong Joon Pyo Daegu Mayor said, "This exhibition was a valuable place to confirm the importance and future value of the machinery, parts, materials, and robots industries.
