[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 부산광역시해운대교육지원청(교육장 김종희)은 22일 오후 2시 해운대구 영화의전당 소극장에서 ‘제2회 해다정어린이·청소년영화제’를 개최한다.
이 영화제는 학생들이 직접 제작한 영화를 출품하는 전국 최초의 영화제이며, 지난해 처음 해운대교육지원청에서 주최했다.
이날 영화제는 우수작품 시상식과 출품작 상영, 학생들의 영화 공유, 영화 촬영 과정 기록 영상 제작 등 스토리가 있는 영화제로 진행한다.
이 영화제에는 칠암초, 용암초, 민안초, 반송초, 방곡초, 수미초 등 초등학교 6교와 동아중, 망미중 등 2교를 비롯한 총 8교의 학생동아리 23팀에서 단편영화 23편을 출품했다.
이들 작품은 영화 관련 전문가로 구성된 심사위원들의 심사를 거쳐 8편이 우수작으로 선정된다.
이날 영화제에는 시상식과 출품작 상영, 영화제작 과정을 영상으로 만들어 학생들 간 공유하고 발표하는 시간도 갖는다. 또, 영화별 포스터 전시, 인생샷 포토존 설치, 즉석 사진 촬영 등 학생들에게 잊을 수 없는 추억을 선사한다.
특히, 오는 11월 26일 롯데시네마 해운대점에서 가족, 친구들과 함께 영화를 즐길 수 있도록 2차례 상영할 예정이다.
김종희 해운대교육지원청 교육장은 “이번 영화제는 학생들에게 문화예술 감수성과 예술적 소양을 함양하는 데 많은 도움이 될 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 해운대교육지원청은 ‘영화도시 부산’이라는 지역적 특색을 교육활동에 접목해 ‘학생참여중심 영화 만들Go!’ 프로그램을 중점사업으로 운영하고 있다.
부산국제어린이청소년영화제(BIKY)의 영화 전문강사 인력풀을 지원받아 전문강사가 직접 학교를 찾아가서 영화동아리 학생들의 영화제작 활동을 지원하고 있다.
The Busan Haeundae Office of Education (Director Kim Jong-hee) will hold the 2nd Haedajeong Children and Youth Film Festival at 2 p.m. on the 22nd at the Small Theater of the Film Center in Haeundae-gu.
The festival is the nation's first film festival in which students submit their own films, and was hosted by the Haeundae Office of Education for the first time last year.
The festival will be held as a film festival with a story, including an award ceremony for outstanding works and screening entries, sharing films by students, and producing videos of recording the filming process.
The festival featured 23 short films from 23 teams of eight student clubs, including six elementary schools such as Chilam Elementary School, Yongam Elementary School, Minan Elementary School, Bansong Elementary School, Banggok Elementary School, and Sumi Elementary School.
Eight of these works will be selected as excellent works after screening by judges composed of film-related experts.
The festival will also have time to share and present the awards ceremony, screen entries, and film production process with students. It also gives unforgettable memories to students, such as poster exhibitions for each movie, setting up a photo zone for life shots, and taking instant photos.
In particular, it will be screened twice at Lotte Cinema Haeundae branch on November 26 to enjoy the movie with family and friends.
Kim Jong-hee, head of education at Haeundae Office of Education, said, "The festival will help students cultivate culture and art sensitivity and artistic literacy."
Meanwhile, the Haeundae Office of Education is operating the "Go! to Make Student Participation-oriented Movies" program by incorporating the regional characteristics of "Film City Busan" into educational activities.
With the support of the Busan International Children and Youth Film Festival (BIKY)'s film instructor pool, professional instructors visit schools to support film production activities for film club students.
