[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 경상북도의회 건설소방원회(위원장 박승직)는 11월 15일(화) 실시한 통합신공항추진단과 재난안전실 행정사무감사에서 집행부의 업무추진 의지가 미흡하다고 질타했다.
통합신공항추진단 행정사무감사에서 건설소방위원들은 통합신공항 건설사업의 원활한 추진을 위해서는 특별법 제정이 필수적임에도 불구하고 대구경북 통합신공항 특별법을 연내 통과시키기 위한 경북도의 노력이 부족하다고 지적했다.
또한, 공항신도시 및 산업·물류단지 조성에 대한 계획이 부실하다고 질타하며 외부에서 진행하는 용역에만 의존할 것이 아니라 경북도에서 먼저 전체적인 계획을 수립하고, 전문가의 자문·협의를 통해 계획을 구체화 시키는 등 좀 더 적극적으로 신공항 건설사업에 임해달라고 촉구했다.
재난안전실 행정사무감사에서는 각종 심의위원회가 대부분 서면회의로 운영되고 있음을 지적하고 심의위원회 설치·운영의 목적과 취지에 맞게 실질적으로 운영되어야 한다고 강조했다.
특히, 지난 11월 2일(수) 북한의 미사일 도발로 발생한 울릉도 공습경보 발령과 관련해 공습경보 실제상황을 겪은 울릉주민들에 대한 어떠한 조치도 이루어지지 않았다며 경북도의 미온적 대응과 향후 대책마련을 촉구했다.
박승직 건설소방위원장(경주)은 “몇 년 전부터 계속해서 지진 발생빈도가 높은 경북도의 특성 상 지진연구소 설립이 필요하다고 주장하고 있는데 집행부에서는 소극적 자세로 일관하고 있다”며, “지진연구소 설립 문제뿐만 아니라 도민의 안전에 대한 문제만큼은 집행부에서 전향적인 자세로 업무추진에 임해주길 바란다 ”고 강조했다.

In the administrative audit of the Disaster Safety Office, he pointed out that most of the deliberation committees are operated as written meetings and stressed that they should be actually operated according to the purpose and purpose of establishing and operating the deliberation committees.
In particular, he urged North Gyeongsang Province to respond lukewarmly and come up with future measures, saying that no action has been taken against Ulleung residents who have experienced actual air raid warnings in connection with the North's missile provocation on November 2 (Wed).
Park Seung-jik, chairman of the Construction and Fire Services Commission (Gyeongju), said, "We have been insisting on the establishment of an earthquake research institute due to the high frequency of earthquakes for several years, but the executive department remains passive."
