[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자] 울산 북구는 7일 북구청 제4주차장에서 겨울철 폭설에 대비해 제설작업 모의훈련을 실시했다.
이날 훈련에는 제설장비 운용반, 북구지역자율방재단원 등이 참여해 제설차량별 임무와 제설장비 이상유무를 점검한 후 모의주행을 실시했다.
북구 민·관 합동 제설훈련은 코로나19 유행으로 2019년부터 중단됐다가 올해 다시 실시한 것으로, 본격 겨울철에 앞서 제설대응 능력을 점검할 수 있는 기회가 됐다.
북구 관계자는 "기습적인 폭설과 같은 겨울철 긴급상황이 발생했을 때 주민들이 불편하지 않도록 신속대응체계를 구축할 수 있도록 하겠다"고 말했다.

The snow removal equipment operation team and autonomous disaster prevention members in Buk-gu participated in the training to check the duties of each snow removal vehicle and whether there were any abnormalities in snow removal equipment before conducting a simulated driving.
The joint snow removal training between the public and government in Buk-gu was suspended from 2019 due to the COVID-19 epidemic and conducted again this year, giving it an opportunity to check the ability to respond to snow removal before the full-fledged winter.
An official from Buk-gu said, "We will be able to establish a rapid response system so that residents do not feel uncomfortable in the event of an emergency in winter such as a sudden heavy snow."
