[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 경주시 외동읍 지역사회보장협의체(별칭 상생복지단)는 16일 양남면 읍천리 일원에서 2022년 4분기 정기회를 실시했다.
이번 정기회에서는 3분기까지의 사업을 점검하고, 연말까지 마무리할 저소득층 따뜻한 보금자리 지원사업, 이불빨래세탁사업, 독거노인 사랑잇기 사업 등 협의체 특화사업에 대한 다양한 의견이 논의됐다.
또한 회의 후에는 경주를 전 세계에 알리고 지역발전의 새로운 동력이 될 2025년 APEC정상회의 경주 유치 지지에 적극적으로 동참하고 최선을 다해 홍보하길 다짐하는 시간을 가졌다.
강기순 외동읍지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장은 “연말연시 어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 최선을 다해 협의체 활동을 마무리할 것이며, 2025년 APEC정상회의 경주 유치 홍보에도 회원들 모두 힘을 보태겠다”고 말했다.
김기호 외동읍장은 “올 한해도 복지사각지대 해소를 위해 고생해 주고 나아가 지역 발전을 위해 APEC정상회의 경주 유치 홍보에도 적극적으로 힘을 보태준 위원들에게 진심으로 감사하며, 외동읍도 지역사회복지증진을 위해 최선의 노력을 다할 것”이라고 전했다.

At the regular meeting, various opinions were discussed on the council's specialized projects, including a project to support warm homes for low-income families, a blanket laundry project, and a love chain project for the elderly living alone, which will be completed by the end of the year.
In addition, after the meeting, we had time to promote Gyeongju to the world and actively participate in supporting the 2025 APEC Summit's bid to host Gyeongju, which will be a new engine for regional development, and to promote it as best as possible.
