[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 대구 수성구(구청장 김대권)는 2022 정부합동평가에서(21년도 실적) ‘식중독 예방관리’우수 기관으로 선정돼 식품의약품안전처로부터 기관 표창과 포상금 1백만 원을 받게 됐다고 14일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 전국 17개 시․도, 228개 시․군․구, 17개 보건환경연구원을 대상으로 ▲식중독 예방관리 ▲식중독 저감화 기여 ▲식중독 예방관리 우수사례 발굴 등에 대해 실시됐다.
수성구는 식중독 예방정책 추진에 대한 노력을 인정받아 수상 기관으로 선정됐다. 식중독 발생 우려가 높은 음식점 및 집단급식시설 등 대상별, 시기별 집중 지도․점검과 위생취약 음식점 대상으로 식중독예방 진단 컨설팅 및 예방교육 홍보 활동을 통해 지역주민이 안심하고 즐길 수 있는 안전한 먹거리 환경 조성에 힘썼다.
특히 코로나19 상황 및 소비환경 변화로 배달 전문음식점에 대한 특별 점검과 위생취약 시설에 대한 컨설팅사업을 추진해 식중독 발생 관리 성과에 기여한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “구민의 건강과 식품 위생관리가 어느 때 보다 중요한 만큼 앞으로도 더욱더 철저한 먹거리 안전관리 강화로 구민들의 건강 보호와 식중독 예방에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 수성구는 겨울철 발생하기 쉬운 노로바이러스를 예방하고자 어린이집 대상으로 식중독 의심 환자 발생 시 행동 요령과 예방법 홍보 활동을 강화해 식중독 발생 예방에 최선을 다하고 있다.

This evaluation was conducted on 17 cities, provinces, 228 cities, counties, and 17 health and environment researchers nationwide on ▲ food poisoning prevention management ▲ contribution to food poisoning reduction ▲ discovery of best practices for food poisoning prevention management.
Suseong-gu was selected as an award-winning institution in recognition of its efforts to promote food poisoning prevention policies. Through intensive guidance and inspection by target and period, such as restaurants and group meal facilities that are highly feared to cause food poisoning, consulting on food poisoning prevention diagnosis and promotion of prevention education for vulnerable restaurants, they worked hard to create a safe food environment for local residents.
In particular, due to the change in the COVID-19 situation and consumption environment, it was highly praised for its contribution to the management of food poisoning by promoting special inspections of delivery restaurants and consulting projects for hygiene vulnerable facilities.
"As the health and food hygiene management of residents are more important than ever, we will continue to do our best to protect the health of residents and prevent food poisoning by strengthening more thorough food safety management," said Kim Dae-kwon, head of Suseong-gu District Office.
Meanwhile, Suseong-gu is doing its best to prevent food poisoning by strengthening its promotional activities for daycare centers to promote behavioral tips and preventive measures in case of suspected food poisoning patients in order to prevent norovirus, which is likely to occur in winter.
