[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 경주엑스포대공원은 사전 참가접수를 신청한 12세 이하 어린이 및 보호자를 대상으로 오는 12~13일과 19~20일 총 12회의 전통놀이 체험행사 ‘우리놀이 한마당’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 문화체육관광부와 한국공예·디자인문화진흥원(이하 공진원)이 전통놀이를 더욱 가깝게, 보다 재미있게 즐길 수 있도록 경주엑스포대공원을 비롯한 고양어린이 박물관, 양주시립회암사지 박물관 등 3곳의 우리놀이터에서 진행한다.
‘우리놀이 한마당’은 2022년 전통놀이문화 조성 및 확산 사업에서 새롭게 개발한 전통놀이 현대화 콘텐츠 ‘딱지, 투호, 제기, 연’을 활용해 운영된다.
프로그램을 살펴보면 ▲전통놀이 배워보기(쌍륙, 고누) ▲전통놀이 겨뤄보기(딱지, 제기) ▲연 날리기 체험(방패연, 가오리연) ▲자유체험(팽이, 산가지, 화가투, 투호, 윷놀이, 비사치기 등) ▲함께 그림 그리기(대형 캔버스에 전통놀이 체험 후기 그리기) 등이다.
류희림 경주엑스포대공원 대표는 “아이들에게 우리의 전통놀이를 제대로 체험할 수 좋은 기회가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 우리의 전통놀이 및 문화를 체험할 수 있는 프로그램을 더 많이 열 수 있도록 준비해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, ‘우리놀이 한마당’이 진행되는 우리놀이터는 전통놀이를 쉽고 재미있게 즐길 수 있도록 현대적으로 재해석한 놀이공간으로 문화체육관광부가 공진원과 함께 전통놀이를 일상 속에서 되살리기 위해 보급하고 있는 전통놀이 문화공간이다. 지난해 고양, 경주, 양주 등 3곳에서 문을 열고 운영 중이다.

"Our Play Hanmadang" will be operated using the newly developed traditional play modernization content "Tagji, Tuho, Jegi, and Yeon" in the project to create and spread traditional play culture in 2022.
If you look at the program, ▲ Learning traditional games (Ssangryuk, Gonu) ▲ Competing traditional games (Tag, Jegi) ▲ Flying kites (Banpaeyeon, Kaoriyeon) ▲ Free experience (Tug, Mountain branch, Hwatu, Tuho, Yutnori, Bisachigi, etc.) ▲ Drawing together (Drawing a review of traditional games on a large canvas).
Ryu Hee-rim, CEO of Gyeongju Expo Grand Park, said, "It will be an opportunity for children to experience our traditional games properly," adding, "We will continue to prepare more programs to experience our traditional games and culture."
On the other hand, Woori Playground, where "Our Play Hanmadang" is held, is a modern reinterpretation of traditional play to make it easy and fun to enjoy traditional play, and is a traditional play cultural space that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is supplying to revive traditional play in daily life with Gong Jin-won. Last year, it opened and operated in three locations: Goyang, Gyeongju, and Yangju.
