[시사뉴스 강영진 기자]경주시가 지난 26일부터 28일까지 베트남 하노이 국립 컨벤션 센터에서 열린 ‘2022 베트남 환경·에너지 산업전’에 참가했다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 산업전에 참가한 경주시는 시가 자체 개발한 급속 수처리기술 GJ-R, 저에너지 고효율 하폐수 처리기술 GK-SBR 등을 적극 홍보했다.
특히 행사 기간 베트남 현지 수처리 기업 선하(Sonha)그룹과 공동으로 기술을 홍보하면서, 저에너지 고효율 하폐수 처리 기술인 GK-SBR이 해외 기업들로부터 뜨거운 관심을 받았다.
또 지난 26일에는 선하그룹과 ‘경주시 물정화기술 구매의향서’를 체결하는 성과를 내기도 했다.
선하그룹은 베트남 땀즈엉 산업단지 內 4000톤 폐수처리시설 조성을 추진 중이며, 먼저 2000톤 처리규모 폐수처리시설을 우선 설치할 계획이다.
이번 구매의향서 체결로 베트남 현지에 경주시의 우수한 물정화기술 ‘GK-SBR’이 적용될 예정이다.
시는 이번 성과를 계기로 베트남 현지에 중규모 폐수처리장 기술 홍보와 보급에 행정력을 집중할 작정이다.
선하그룹 레빙썬 회장은 “대한민국 정부(환경부)가 인증한 ‘GK-SBR’기술을 베트남 현지 산업단지에 적용할 수 있게 되어 매우 기쁘다”며 “경주시의 수처리 기술은 1일 처리량 2000톤 규모의 대규모 폐수처리 현장에 쓰일 예정”이라고 말했다. 그러면서 “경주시의 우수한 물정화 기술이 베트남 內 도입되는데 돕겠다”고 덧붙였다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “이번 베트남환경에너지 산업전 참가를 통해 우리시 GK-SBR기술이 해외 물 관계자들에게 많은 관심을 받았다”며, “물 산업 성장률이 높은 투자유망 국가로, 급격하게 성장하고 있는 베트남에 경주시의 기술이 보급될 수 있도록 행정력을 집중하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 이번 베트남 환경·에너지 산업전에는 24개국 150개 기업이 270곳의 부스를 운영했다. 대한민국에서는 수질, 대기, 폐기물, 해수담수화, 신생에너지 등 환경관련 85개 기업이 부스 120곳을 마련해 홍보에 적극 나서 행사 기간 1만 여명이 다녀갔다.

In particular, GK-SBR, a low-energy and high-efficiency wastewater treatment technology, received keen attention from overseas companies while jointly promoting the technology with Vietnam's local water treatment company Sonha Group during the event.
On the 26th, it also signed a 'Willing Letter of Purchase of Water Purification Technology in Gyeongju' with the Seonha Group.
Sunha Group is seeking to build a 4,000-ton wastewater treatment facility in Vietnam's Sweatzhuong Industrial Complex, and plans to install a 2,000-ton wastewater treatment facility first.
With the signing of the purchase intention, Gyeongju City's excellent water purification technology "GK-SBR" will be applied to Vietnam.
With this achievement, the city intends to focus its administrative power on promoting and distributing technologies for medium-sized wastewater treatment plants in Vietnam.
"We are very happy to apply the 'GK-SBR' technology certified by the Korean government (Ministry of Environment) to local industrial complexes in Vietnam," said Leving Sun, chairman of the Sunha Group. "Gyeongju City's water treatment technology will be used for a large-scale wastewater treatment site with 2,000 tons of throughput per day." He added, "We will help Gyeongju City's excellent water purification technology be introduced in Vietnam."
Gyeongju Mayor Joo Nak-young said, "Our city's GK-SBR technology has received a lot of attention from overseas water officials through participation in the Vietnam Environmental Energy Industry Exhibition," adding, "We will focus our administrative power to distribute Gyeongju's technology to Vietnam, which is growing rapidly."
Meanwhile, 150 companies from 24 countries operated 270 booths at the Vietnam Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition. In South Korea, 85 environmental-related companies, including water quality, air, waste, seawater desalination, and new energy, prepared 120 booths to promote them, and about 10,000 people visited during the event.
