[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)은 27일 성서체육공원 야외운동장에서 성서산단 및 기업체 근로자 1,000여명이 참여한 『제2회 달서 근로자 가요제』을 성공적 개최했다고 밝혔다
이번 행사는 산업현장에서 지친 성서공단 및 관내 기업체 근로자를 위로하고 상호 화합을 위한 어울림 행사를 개최해 근로자의 사기를 진작하고 경제회복의 원동력으로 삼기 위해 마련됐다. 가요제는 “장구의 신” 박서진을 비롯한 지역가수가 출연했고, 추첨인들에게 돌아가는 경품(세라젬의료기 외 14종) 역시 훨씬 다채로워 근로자의 어울림 한마당의 장이 됐다.
이날 행사는 식전공연을 시작으로 근로자 12개팀의 노래자랑, 근로자 표창, 초대가수 축하공연, 시상식 및 경품추첨 순으로 진행됐다.
대상은 ‘내 하나의 사람은 가고’를 부른 한독금속(주)에서 근무하는 권재호씨에게 돌아갔다. 권재호씨는 항상 밝은 성격으로 직장 내에서도 웃음을 꽃피우는 분위기 메이커로 “항상 자신을 응원해주는 직장 동료들이 크게 기뻐할 것 같다며 수상의 영광을 동료에게 돌리고 싶다. 항상 고마움을 전하고 싶었는데 달서구와 성서공단에서 이런 기회를 만들어 주어 감사하다.”고 했다.
한편, 달서구에는 지역 최대 일반산업단지로써 대구경제의 중추적인 역할을 담당하고 있는 성서산업단지(1차~4차)와 대구출판인쇄산업단지 등 3천여개 이상 입주업체, 5만여명의 근로자가 근무하고 있다.
이태훈 구청장은 “이번 가요제가 코로나로 지친 근로자들에게 조금이나마 위로가 되기를 바라며 앞으로 달서구에서는 매년 이러한 근로자 어울림 행사를 개최하여 삶의 현장에서 애쓰시는 근로자들의 노고를 보살피는데 힘쓰겠다”라고 말했다.

Starting with the pre-ceremony performance, the event was held in the order of singing contests of 12 teams of workers, worker commendations, celebratory performances of invited singers, award ceremonies and prize draws.
The grand prize went to Kwon Jae-ho, who works for Handok Metal Co., Ltd., who sang "My One Person Is Gone." Kwon Jae-ho is a mood maker who always smiles at work with a bright personality, and he wants to give the honor of the award to his colleagues, saying, "I think my colleagues who always support me will be very happy." I've always wanted to thank you, but I'm grateful that Dalseo-gu and Seongseo Industrial Complex created this opportunity," he said.
Meanwhile, Dalseo-gu has more than 3,000 tenants and 50,000 workers, including Seongseo Industrial Complex (1st to 4th), which plays a pivotal role in the Daegu economy, and Daegu Publishing and Printing Industrial Complex.
Taehoon Lee Mayor said, "I hope this song festival will be a little comfort to workers who are tired of COVID-19, and in the future, Dalseo-gu will hold such an event every year to take care of the hard work of workers who are struggling in the field of life."
