[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 오는 주말(15일) 경주엑스포대공원에서 어린이 전통춤 체험 교실과 피아노 연주회가 무료로 열린다.
엑스포 문화아카데미는 사회공헌의 일환으로 솔거미술관 소장 작가인 박대성 화백의 한국화와 함께하는 한국 전통 춤 교실을 열어 어린이 관람객들에게 전통문화예술 체험 기회를 제공한다.
우리 그림과 함께하는 ‘꼭두각시 춤’ 체험 교실이라는 이름으로 오는 15일 오후 4시와 5시 두 차례에 걸쳐 최대 20명씩 진행되며, 리어예술단(대표 이다현)의 재능기부로 함께 운영된다.
문화아카데미에서 열리는 이날 체험교실은 솔거미술관의 우리 그림(박대성 화백 소장작품) 해설과 리어예술단의 ‘꼭두각시 춤’ 유래 및 노랫말과 춤 동작 배우기가 50분에 걸쳐 진행된다.
체험을 희망하는 어린이 관람객들은 솔거미술관 홈페이지를 통해 사전 신청이 가능하며, 문화아카데미 현장 신청도 된다. 신청대상은 4~13세 어린이로 6세 이하는 부모님이 함께해야 한다.
엑스포 문화아카데미는 지역 문화예술 발전과 경주시민의 문화적 소양 함양과 문화향유 기회를 제공하기 위해 설립된 공간으로 지역 예술가들이 사용할 수 있으며, 오픈 스튜디오와 예술교육 장으로 활용되고 있다.
재능기부에 나선 리어예술단은 지역의 젊은 무용가 단체로, 지난 9월 26일 (재)문화엑스포와 문화예술 드림이(Dream-Education) 프로젝트 업무협약을 맺고, 경주엑스포대공원 어린이 관람객과 예술 사각지대 어린이들에게 한국무용 체험 기회를 제공한다.
이날 오후 1시부터는 문화센터 1층 로비에서 경주타워에서 근무하는 직원 이윤정(28)씨의 재능기부로 피아노 연주회가 열린다.
대학과 대학원에서 피아노를 전공한 재원인 이 씨는 이날 연주회에서 캐논변주곡, Flower Dance, 인생의 회전목마, Love affair, Chaconne, 터키행진곡, 10월 어느 멋진 날에 등의 곡을 연주 할 예정이다. 오는 29일(토)에도 한 차례 더 연주회를 갖는다.
이윤정씨는 “재능기부를 통해 공원을 찾은 관람객들과 음악으로 소통할 수 있는 기회가 생겨 기쁘다. 깊어가는 가을 많은 관람객들이 찾아와 좋은 음악을 감상하고 행복한 마음을 가득 담아 가셨으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.
류희림 경주엑스포대공원 대표는 “공원을 찾은 관람객들이 알록달록 물들어가는 가을 정취와 함께 아름다운 피아노 선율도 감상하고, 우리 그림과 무용을 직접 체험해 보는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

As part of its social contribution, the Expo Cultural Academy opens a Korean traditional dance class with Korean paintings by artist Park Dae-sung, director of the Solger Museum of Art, providing children with opportunities to experience traditional culture and arts.
Under the name of the "Puppet Dance" experience class with our paintings, up to 20 people will be held twice at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the 15th, and will be operated together with talent donations from the Rear Art Troupe (CEO Lee Da-hyun).
The experience class, which will be held at the Cultural Academy, will take 50 minutes to explain our paintings (painted by artist Park Dae-sung) at the Solger Museum of Art, learn the origin of "Puppet Dance" by the Lear Art Troupe, and learn lyrics and dance moves.
Children who wish to experience the experience can apply in advance through the website of the Solger Museum of Art, and they can also apply on-site at the Cultural Academy. Applicants are children aged 4 to 13, and parents under the age of 6 must be with them.
The Expo Cultural Academy is a space established to develop local culture and arts, foster cultural literacy and provide cultural enjoyment opportunities for Gyeongju citizens, and is used as an open studio and art education center.
The Lear Art Troupe, a local young dancer group, signed an agreement with the Culture Expo on September 26th for the Dream-Education project and provides children at Gyeongju Expo Park with opportunities to experience Korean dance.
From 1 p.m. on the same day, a piano concert will be held in the lobby on the first floor of the cultural center with the talent donation of Lee Yoon-jung (28), an employee working at Gyeongju Tower.
Lee Jae-in, who majored in piano at university and graduate school, will perform songs such as Canon Variations, Flower Dance, The Merry-Go-Round of Life, Love Affair, Chaconne, Turkish March, and one wonderful day in October. There will be another concert on the 29th (Sat).
Lee Yoon-jung said, "I am happy to have an opportunity to communicate with visitors who visited the park through music through talent donation. "I hope many visitors come to see us in the deepening autumn and listen to good music and go with a happy heart," he said.
Ryu Hee-rim, CEO of Gyeongju Expo Grand Park, said, "I hope that visitors to the park will have a meaningful time to appreciate the beautiful piano melody along with the colorful autumn mood and experience our paintings and dances."
