[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 26일 본리종합사회복지관에서 명예사회복지공무원 핵심리더인 복지달인 45여명이 참석한‘복지달인 마을리더 복지교육 수료식’을 개최했다.
복지달인 마을리더 교육은 이달 15일부터 23개동 명예사회복지공무원 중 핵심리더 45명으로 대상으로 ▲Fun하게 소통하는 리더 ▲마을 복지공동체의 가치와 마을지기 역할 ▲사회복지와 지역사회 참여활동 ▲학대예방 민감성 키우기 등 총 5회 교육으로 진행했다.
이번 교육을 수료한 복지달인은 복지사각지대 대상자 발굴 및 홍보, 지역 내 사회참여를 희망하는 결혼이민자와 파트너가 돼 돌봄이 필요한 1인 독거세대에 방문 및 안부를 확인하는 활동 등 지역에서 중요한 역할을 수행할 것으로 기대된다.
수료식에 참석한 수강생 대표는 “이번 교육을 통해 복지달인의 역할 및 중요성을 느낄 수 있었고, 동네 구석구석 살펴 복지사각지대가 없는 달서구가 되기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
이태훈 구청장은 “바쁜 일상 속에서 지역의 위기가구 발굴 및 지원을 위해 애쓰시는 명예사회복지공무원의 노고에 깊은 감사를 드리며, 우리 동네의 주민리더로 주민과 함께 협력하여 상생하는 달서구가 되기를 기대한다”고 전했다.

After completing this training, welfare masters are expected to play an important role in the region, such as finding and promoting welfare blind spots, partnering with marriage immigrants who wish to participate in the community, and visiting and checking their safety.
The student representative who attended the completion ceremony said, "Through this education, I was able to feel the role and importance of welfare masters, and I will try to become Dalseo-gu without welfare deadlines by looking at every corner of the neighborhood."
Taehoon Lee Mayor said, "We deeply appreciate the hard work of honorary social welfare officials who strive to find and support crisis households in the region in busy daily life, and we look forward to working with residents to become Dalseo-gu."
