[시사뉴스 강영진 기자] 대구 달서구 이곡1동(동장 천지영) 지역사회보장협의체(위원장 정기태)는 21일부터 오는 27일까지 관내 성인발달장애인과 협의체 위원들이 함께 목재 공예 체험을 하는‘아낌없이 주는 나무’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
지역사회보장협의체 위원들과 나누리 주간보호센터의 성인 발달장애인이 1:1 매칭으로 27일까지 2회에 거쳐 달서구 목재문화관에서 발달장애인의 수준에 맞는 목재 체험을 함께 한다.
지난해에는 나의 성장 레시피 첫 번째 이야기인 쿠킹 프로그램으로 성인발달장애인과 함께 요리활동을 했다. 2022년에는 체험분야 및 대상을 확대해 나의 성장 레시피 그 두 번째 이야기‘아낌없이 주는 나무’를 운영하게 됐다.
천지영 이곡1동장은 “지난해 요리에 이어 목공예 활동을 통해 성인발달장애인, 어르신 등 지역의 다양한 주민들이 함께 어울려 공동체를 만들어가고, 일상생활에서의 자립에 조금이라도 도움이 되길 바란다”라고 말했다.

Last year, I did cooking activities with adults with developmental disabilities with the cooking program, the first story of my growth recipe. In 2022, I will expand my experience field and target to run the second story of my growth recipe, "The Giving Tree without mercy."
Chun Ji-young, head of Igok 1-dong, said, "I hope that various local residents, including adults with developmental disabilities, will work together to create a community and help them stand on their own feet in their daily lives."
