[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자]  안전보건공단 산업안전보건연구원(이하 연구원, 원장 김은아)은 건설현장 비계 작업의 추락사고 예방을 위해 연구·개발한『시스템비계 전용 수평 선행안전난간대^*(이하 ”선행안전난간대”』를 민간기업에 무상 기술이전하여 상용화에 성공했다.

선행안전난간대는 올해 3월에 특허 등록되어, 국내 중소기업 8개소에 기술을 무상이전 ▲디에이치케이기술산업(주) ▲㈜광덕스틸 ▲㈜진아스틸 등이 안전인증을 취득 상용화하게 되었다.

연구원에서는 동 기술의 현장 적용을 위해 홍보 동영상을 제작하여 유튜브에 공개하였으며, 올해 7월 산업안전보건강조주간 국제안전보건전시회에 전시하여 참여자들의 큰 관심을 받았다.

안전보건공단 김은아 산업안전보건연구원장은 “건설현장의 비계 설치·해체 시 추락사고 예방을 위해 선행안전난간대를 적극적으로 활용할 것을 당부드린다”며 “앞으로 산업현장의 사망사고를 근원적으로 예방할 수 있는 실용연구를 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

The Korea Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (hereinafter referred to as Kim Eun-ah) succeeded in commercializing the system scaffold-only horizontal preceding safety railing* (hereinafter referred to as "previous safety railing") by transferring free technology to private companies.

The preceding safety rail was registered as a patent in March this year, and ▲DHK Technology Industry Co., Ltd. ▲ Gwangdeok Steel ▲ JinA Steel Co., Ltd. acquired and commercialized safety certification to eight small and medium-sized domestic companies for free of charge.

The institute produced a promotional video for the on-site application of the technology and released it on YouTube, and displayed it at the International Safety and Health Exhibition during Industrial Safety and Health Emphasis Week in July this year, drawing keen attention from participants.

Kim Eun-ah, head of the Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute of the Korea Safety and Health Corporation, said, "We urge you to actively use the preceding safety rail to prevent falls when scaffolding is installed or dismantled at construction sites. We will strengthen practical research to fundamentally prevent deaths at industrial sites.
