[시사뉴스 정윤철 기자]  올해에도 환경 친화적 자동차 보급 확대를 위해 전기자동차 민간보급 사업이 적극 추진된다.

울산시는 전기자동차 구매보조금 지원을 내용으로 하는 ‘2023년 전기자동차 민간보급 사업’을 지난 13일 공고, 14일부터 신청 접수에 들어간다고 밝혔다.

공고에 따르면 올해 전기자동차 지원 규모는 총 2,030대로 승용차 1,333대, 화물차 690대, 승합(어린이 통학차량) 7대이며 상·하반기 2회로 나누어 지원될 예정이다. 지원되는 사업비는 총 245억원이다.

울산시 관계자는 “온실가스 감축 및 미세먼지 저감 등을 위하여 보조금 지원사업을 추진하는 만큼 이번 전기차 민간보급 사업에 많은 시민들과 기업체 참여를 기대한다" 밝혔다. 

또한, 올해 지원대상에는 어린이통학차량과 택배차량이 중점적으로 들어간 것으로 알려졌다.

An official from Ulsan City said, "As we are promoting subsidized projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fine dust, we expect many citizens and companies to participate in this electric vehicle private supply project." 

In addition, it is reported that this year's support targets will focus on children's commuting vehicles and delivery vehicles.
